Sunday (July 1) was the first Summer Concert in the Parks concert at this site.

It's worth strolling the grounds to see the beautiful plants and trees, but the real reason we came here today was to enjoy the sites first scheduled concert! We had a really nice day for it which was great because unlike the rest of the country we here in Whatcom county had been inundated with cloudy, rainy days for most of June. During the bands intermission the P & R staff did tours of the big house and a walk to the Middens down at the beach access on the property.
