Centennial trail link from Monroe?

I just read an interesting article about the Centennial Trail in Snohomish county. If you are a frequent reader of my blog you know that one of my favorite local lowland completely paved trails is the Centennial trail.

This article speaks about future plans to link the trail with a 7 mile connector from Monroe, Wa. to Snohomish, Wa.
