Picture of the week ~ NODM Virtual Marathon

Sunday June 7, 2020 we completed our Virtual North Olympic Discover trail Marathon (NODM). 

We chose to do our course on the Centennial trail, starting at the northernmost section of the trail, at Nakashima Barn. Our course was an out and back twice so we could have an aid station at our car in the parking lot at the half way point. 

We walked 5 minutes and ran 10 minute intervals for the entire distance. *I did pause my watch at our half way/13.1 mile aid station while we refilled our packs etc., so the clock time is our "on the course" time.

It poured rain for the first few miles, but by the time we finished there was glorious sunshine.
