Bicycling the Olympic Discovery trail

We went to Sequim to visit family for a few days. We took our bicycles so we could go on some rides together.
Mount Rainier was visible during our ferry ride to the Peninsula. I took this photo as the other ferry was passing by.

Thursday we biked the trail from Sequim to the Longhouse Market and Deli with my dad for lunch and then cycled back. The fall colors were beautiful as we made our way down the trail.
We stopped at Carrie Blake park for a break. I loved this purple bike repair station.

The bay near the 7Cedars Casino.

The Longhouse Market & Deli with it’s beautiful art work on display.

After lunch we made our way back to Sequim.
A great 26.6 mile bike ride on the trail.

Then today we rode our bikes with my dad, my brother & his wife from Port Townsend on another section of the Olympic Discovery trail via the Larry Scott trail, and the Pacific Northwest trail to the Four Corners and back. It was a bit more chilly for the start of this ride but the sun did eventually come out for us.

As you can see the sky did turn blue for our return.
A beautiful day, 15.1 more miles on the Olympic Discovery trail.
