Two bike rides and a walk

My husband and I went for a bike ride in Anacortes last Thursday. We started at the Tommy Thompson trail and rode around March's point and beyond towards the Swinomish casino for a bit of exploring before returning to the trail and our starting location. I didn't take any photos but here is a link about the Tommy Thompson trail: https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/tommy-thompson-trail, and a link to some historic information about March's point (complete with archived photos): https://anacortes.pastperfectonline.com/bysearchterm?keyword=March%27s+Point&page=6
Here's the relive video of our route:

Garmin stats:
total miles - 16.05
total ascent - 390 feet
total descent - 381 feet

Yesterday we went for a lovely walk at Hovander park. I enjoyed the fall colors. We started at the boat launch in Ferndale and walked to the Slater road access then back through the Fragrance gardens, the water boardwalk trail then back through the farm and to our starting location. Here's a link for info. about the farm: http://www.co.whatcom.wa.us/1957/Hovander-Homestead-Park and some photos from our day.

Garmin stats:
total miles - 6.39
total ascent - 89 feet
total descent - 102 feet

Today we went on a bike ride, stopped at Starbucks for lunch then rode back to our starting location.
I love riding through our local farming communities❤

We had hoped to see some Snow geese in a field, but it was not to be today. We did see a small flock fly overhead and land in a local field this week, but they were smart and landed way in the middle of the field near a pond way beyond our eye and camera view, but they're here!! First local sighting of the year.

Garmin stats:
total miles - 23.2
total ascent - 364 feet
total descent - 312 feet

I like when we mix in walks and biking trips with our hikes and walk/runs.
Variety is fun!
